WELCOME ON THE MESOTHERAPY WEBSITE.

Mesotherapy has just known the most important period in its history.
The interuniversitary diploma of Mesotherapy (DIU) has been validated by the Medical National Order on its december 2003 session.
A new classification of medical acts, in which is repertoried the pain treatment by Mesotherapy, will be available by the 1st of October 2004.
This way, only the possessors of this diploma could have their Mesotherapy acts being reimbursed by the CPAM (French Health Insurance Company).
That's why we wished to create this website, to help doctors and patients in their research of information about Mesotherapy.
WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?
It uses local injections, on or under the skin, painless (as a desensibilization therapy).
The epidermic technic is very often used :
• With needles ranging from 4 to 13 mm of length
• Using disposable material : "manual" technic with syringue and needle, or assisted electronic injector technic.

It will take place on the 17th and 18th of November 2007 in Strasbourg, France

The 5th Congress of the French Society of Mesotherapy will look into all of the indications in Mesotherapy, both through formal plenary presentations and hands-on workshops.

A large number of studies will be presented about caring for pain, whether traumatological, rhumatological, neurological or of other origin.

They are the culmination of extensive research performed in the various schools where the topic is taught. Other fields in Mesotherapy will also be elaborated upon, from immunological or vascular pathologies to aesthetic Mesotherapy.

The hands-on workshops will be more varied, offering the full range of related Mesotherapy treatments, with extended hours.

The presentations will be delivered during sessions with a chairman and moderator from the same university school, so as to give more room to discussion.

Mesotherapy continues to make huge strides in hospitals and universities, thanks to our academic leaders. I would like to extend my warm thanks to them for their unwavering support and for having agreed, once again, to honour us with their presence.

Nonetheless, the road ahead is a long one, and the utmost scientific discipline will be required if we are to convince the last sceptics.
